Rashid Sumaila’s Red Star Belgrade will square off against PSG, Liverpool and Napoli in Group C of the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League after the draw was made on Thursday.

Red Star Belgrade, who won the European Cup in 1991, came back from two goals down in an electrifying second leg against Austrian giants Red Star Salzburg to draw 2-2 and go through on away goals.

Sumaila, who joined the Red and White lads on a season-long loan from Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia this summer, did not play any part in their qualification after joining the team late during the pre-season training.

Red Star Belgrade will commence their UCL campaign on September 8, 2018.
